We regret to learn that our team may not have been able to secure a single room for you on this occasion, especially as we do invite single travellers to join our trips with a supplemental charge for single-occupancy rooms. That said, this is subject to availability as it depends on the size of our groups as well as room availability at our selected hotels. Still, we are hoping to be able to travel with you to Spain soon, and we would encourage you to reach out to our Reservations Team once more.

Hygiene Measures


Vaccination Policy:
While highly recommended, COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are no longer required for guests traveling with us from January 1, 2023, onward. It is your client’s responsibly to comply with specific vaccine and/or booster requirements imposed by airlines and/or authorities in the destinations visited, as well as requirements for accessing restaurants and venues, which may be more restrictive than the above. No refunds will be given if they are unable to undertake some or all of their vacation due to failure to comply with these requirements. 
 
Future Travel Credit:
If your client has a Future Travel Credit (FTC) with one of our brands, they are able to redeem against any 2022, 2023 or 2024 tour package. Discounts of up to 15% from their original reservation will only be carried forward if a new trip is booked before December 31, 2022. The FTC is the total amount that they paid to us for their tour that was suspended due to COVID-19. That sum can be applied to any itinerary or departure of their choosing (current discounts and promotions are not combinable with the carry forward discounts and are subject to availability on the new trip). If they choose a trip or departure that is more expensive than their FTC credit, your client is responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the FTC credit, a new FTC will be issued for the difference.

Travel Flexibility Policy:
Our temporary change and cancellation policies have ended, and our standard policy as outlined in our Booking Conditions now applies for all reservations (including Future Travel Credit redemptions) departing January 1, 2023, onward. A penalty is applied for changes or cancellations made after the final payment has been received. Normal penalties apply for full cancellation without rebooking. Please note, airlines may impose different change policies, and if your client declines travel insurance, they are responsible for any airline cancellation penalties. Other conditions apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I upgrade to a Single Room?

    If you prefer the privacy of your own room, you can opt for our single supplement. The cost will depend on your trip and can be found in the pricing section of the itinerary. On many of our trips we offer discounts on the standard single supplement. If you’d rather not incur the additional expense, consider our single traveler room share option. We’ll accommodate you with a fellow guest of the same gender, on a twin-bed basis.
  • Do I need insurance/ travel protection?

    Trafalgar recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive Travel Insurance. Certain countries have a requirement for visitors to have valid medical insurance on entry and in Europe you may find that doctor surgeries, dentists and hospitals often require payment in cash prior to providing services. 
    Trafalgar cannot be held responsible for denied entry if a guest is unable to provide details to authorities of insurance or denial of entry for any reason.
  • What are the luggage restrictions?

    Traveling with Trafalgar entitles each guest to travel with one suitcase not exceeding 23kg (50lbs) in weight, with the dimensions of 76cm x 46cm x 25cm (30” x 18” x 10”). Guests may also bring one item of hand luggage that is small and light enough to be carried onto the coach and fit underneath the seat, or in the small overhead compartment above (luggage with adjustable handles and wheels will not fit). 
  • Can I request specific dietary requests?

    We encourage all guests to advise us about any specific dietary needs that they may have (vegetarian, diabetic, gluten free, etc.) and will strive to accommodate these. Where possible, we will endeavor to make arrangements with our suppliers.
    It is important to discuss any special dietary requirements with your Travel Director at the beginning of the trip. However, such requests cannot be guaranteed on every occasion.
  • What are the transport coaches in Europe like?

    Our modern air-conditioned coaches complete with WiFi, have been selected with your comfort in mind. Your Travel Director will introduce the Driver, explain any safety information in detail and familiarize you with all of the features on board. A washroom is fitted for your comfort, and please rest assured that regular stops are made for you to stretch your legs, take refreshments, fill up your water bottles and use the facilities.
  • Who are our travel directors?

    We know that the human touch is what differentiates unforgettable travel experiences from those that are simply ‘good’. Our Travel Directors come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all share a passion for travel and their home countries. These experienced professionals show you what the guidebooks can’t – a true insider’s perspective of each destination. Each Travel Director has been through a bespoke training program, and many have at least five years’ experience under their belt.
  • Tipping and Gratuity Guidelines in Europe?

    Tipping etiquette varies by country, culture and the situation and it is a gesture that shows appreciation for the quality of service that you received.
    When traveling with Trafalgar we have pre-paid certain tips and gratuities for you. Baggage handling at hotels, service charges and tips for hotel wait staff (for included meals) will be taken care of by your Travel Director. There are however a few instances where individual tipping is welcome.
  • Are there age restriction for children?

    At Trafalgar, our younger guests are just as important as our older ones, so we’ve taken care to craft action-packed itineraries that’ll impress children aged five years or older. All children and young people under eighteen years old must however be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for their supervision and welfare.
